Convert any date from the Gregorian calendar to the Republican calendar of 1793. Requires iOS 13 or watchOS 6.

Convert from Gregorian to Republican Calendar
Change the Gregorian date in the Convert widget until you reach the date you want to convert. The date in Republican format will be displayed below in blue. Tap on it to see more information.
Note: Dates before September 22, 1792 are not supported.
Convert from Republican to Gregorian Calendar
Change the Republican day, month, and year in the Convert widget until you reach the date you want to convert. The Gregorian date will be displayed above.
My Birthday
Tap "My Contacts", then allow access to contacts by the app. We do not save your personal data.
Tap your contact. Your birthdate in Republican format is displayed. Tap it to see the day name (fruit, animal, tool)!
Your next Republican birthday is also displayed below. It is often the same day as your Gregorian birthday, but sometimes shifted by a day.
My Favorites
When viewing details of a Republican date, tap the star in the top right to add it to favorites.
To see your favorites list, tap "My Favorites" on the home screen. Tap a favorite and then the star again to remove it.
Today's Date
To return to today, tap the cross in the top right of the Convert widget. Today's date is also displayed in the Today widget, tap it to see details.
To have today's date on your iOS 14 home screen, long press an app icon, tap the "+" in the top left, and select "Rep. Cal" to always see the current date.
watchOS FAQ
Convert from Gregorian to Republican Calendar
Change the day, month, and year on the home screen until you reach the date you want to convert. The date in Republican format will be displayed above. Tap on it to see more information.

Convert from Republican to Gregorian Calendar
Tap the arrow in the top left to show the main menu, then tap "To Gregorian". You can then modify the day, month, and year to see the Gregorian date.

Tap the arrow in the top left to show the main menu, then tap "My Contacts", then allow access. We do not save your personal data.
Tap your contact. Your birthdate in Republican format is displayed. Tap it to see the day name!
My Favorites
When viewing details of a Republican date, tap "Save" to add it to favorites.
To see your favorites list, tap "My Favorites" in the main menu. Tap a favorite then "Saved" to remove it.
Today's Date
To return to today, force press the home screen to show the menu, then tap "Today".
To have today's date on your watch face as a complication, force press your watch face, tap "Customize", and scroll to "Republican Calendar".
